It hath arriveth!

The year’s first issue of the Daily Cardinal is officially out today. Be sure grab a copy of the print edition at the Memorial Union or at pretty much every coffee shop on State St.; there’s a lot to like in there. As promised, here’s a link to the extended version of my Inglourious Basterds review, and while you’re poking around the Arts section, read my colleague Kevin Slane’s interesting take on the recently delayed release of Martin Scorcese’s next film, Shutter Island. I’m genuinely impressed that Slane would take such a strong position against this decision by the Hollywood behemoth (relegating a film like “Shutter Island” to the doldrums of February film is an affront not only to filmmakers, but to the American audience at large.”)

End credits: My Basterds review wouldn’t be what it is without the essential company, advice and discussion provided by a certain friend o’ mine (he knows who he is).
