R.I.P. William Lubtchansky

You shot some incredible films by some of my very favorite directors (Rivette, Godard, Garrel, Straub/Huillet, Varda).  Your work was consistently tremendous, gorgeous, mysterious, affective, laden with curious energies and alien rhythms—I’m not exaggerating when I say that you helped me learn to see, to feel. You had quite a run, my friend.
