Heads-up re: TCM, 5/9

Tomorrow TCM is rolling out a motley crew of mommy-oriented movies for Mother’s Day. The two that I’m most looking forward to seeing are King Vidor’s “The Patsy” (1928) at 11:30PM and Pier Paolo Pasolini’s “Mamma Roma” (1964) at 1AM. Depending on how early your mom’s bedtime is nowadays, I recommend sharing one of these films with her (the Pasolini film in particular would make for a wonderfully strange mother-son/daughter bonding session, I imagine). The rest of tomorrow’s schedule can be found here.
